“I split my time up and focus on my mind power thinking at different times of day, will this damage my progress?”
Success Mindset Questions & Answers
Question:

Hello Mr. Shaw!

I'm truly grateful for the amazing book you have made for people like me. I find the book very practical that it can be applied in our day to day lives. I have some questions though. You know, I spend about 30 minutes a day doing various mind exercises. But I split my exercises into 2 parts, doing 15 minutes each part. First part takes place in the morning and the second part takes place later in the day. Sometimes, due to my busy schedule, I can only manage to do the second part around midnight. Is it necessary to do the exercises within the 24 hour period? In my case, I'm doing 4 different exercises. That is why I'm doing the exercises every other day (pertaining only those 2 exercises) Because of that, so I split my time up and focus on my mind power thinking at different times of day, will this damage my progress? Am I breaking the rule of not de-bugging my mind daily?

Thank you!

John Bedford

Answer:

Hi John,

The exact times that you do mind exercises does not matter. What you want to establish is a regular routine of daily feeding your mind with the thoughts that reflect what you want to achieve from life. Exactly when and how this happens is probably irrelevant. But my opinion is a stream of constant small amounts of time spent on the subject will enhance your progress. You should have a go at half an hour to an hour some days, and then say 5+ sessions of 5 minutes thought breaks the next day.

Best wishes

Andy
